UGG Boots - Now suitable for men!

UGG Australia have been building a great reputation as a brand which provide a wide range of styles which all hold the same level of quality and comfort as the original UGG Boots. Last time on this blog we focused on the fantastic selection of UGG Gloves and Scarves. I've been wearing a pair of the UGG Gloves for the past week on my Wintry trek to work and I can safely say these are some of the warmest Gloves I've ever worn. Well, it's been over a week since this blog was updated, shameful I know but we've been very busy here at Cloggs.co.uk, updating all the amazing Ugg products we've got on offer - we've even started stocking a amazing range of Ugg Accessories;

Ugg Australia have given us a full range of the branded accessories. Currently the most popular of these items are the gloves. The warmth and comfort your feet feel from the Ugg Australia quality and material can know be experienced by your hands. We've Got An Amazing Selection of UGG Boots!

At Cloggs.co.uk we have always prided ourselves on our fantastic range of UGG Boots, and this winter season our range has surpassed even our wildest ideas.

UGGs You Wont Slip In!

UGG Australia have always been known for creating their comfy boots with cozy sheepskin inners, however, they've never been that good at creating boots that you wont fall over in. I don't know about you but when i'm walking in my cozy uggs and it gets a bit slippy (as its strating to do with all the rain) the grip on my boots starts to fail. Now, don't get me wrong I love my UGGs, they keep my dry and warm all day but I just want something with a little more stability and now I have it.

The Ultimate Short (UGG Australia's words not mine) is modelled on the original UGG Boots, and is to, the eye identical (although the chocolate colour stlyes is much darker than the orignial UGG). However, UGG Australia have listend to their customers and added proper traciton to the buttom of the button. This means you have the classic UGG design but with a grip that means you can trudging through the snow with out falling over (you'll probably need some protector spray still though). These boots are priced a little higher than the original boot but with the added benefits they are more than worth it..possible to early to ask for them for Christmas? I just hope they add this feature to the UGG Bailey Button!

Trust Us They're Uggs

UGG Australia have been adding loads of new styles to their men's ugg range. As a company, it's clear they're becoming aware of the stigma attached to UGG boots, especially with regards to men wearing them, and are now attempting to tackle this issue. UGGs - Often Immitated

UGG Josyln is another inspired design from the UGG Australia company; combing the best features of the classic UGG Boot with the superior wedge heel. The wedge heel has become a very fashionable feature this season, several leading designers have merged it into their designs, such as Ash and Prada. The Joslyn will doubtless become another timeless design brought to us by the people that brought us the iconic UGG boot, which, whether you hated or loved it, was undeniably one of the biggest trends of the decade. 

In recent months several shops have begun to create copies of the UGG Boot design, especially the UGG Bailey Button - which is a cute twist on the original UGG boot style and gained popularity because it can be normally or the tops can be folded down to give wearers a bit more flair in their footwear.  It is highly likely that the Josyln will receive the same treatment with several high street shops attempting to imitate the design and have it on the shelves before Christmas. UGGs - Science Behind the Boot.

So, UGGs are always talked about being comfortable, durable and above all warm. But how does the material they use differ from normal boots? How does the sheepskin work to keep you feet snugg in winter but cool in summer, the answer is thermostatic material.

 The sheepskin material breathes which enables air to flow in and out of the boot. UGG Boots - Make sure they're real.

UGG boots are a must have shoe for keeping your feet warm whilst staying stylish. UGG boots are made of superior quality sheepskin, the superb tailoring can come with a hefty price tag but it's worth every penny. However, many unscrupulous vendors are attempting to sell fake versions of this classic boot. Buying these fake boots may save you putting a dent in your budget but once these fakes begin to fall apart you'll wish you'd never bothered. So, how do you spot if your UGG boots are the real deal?

• The sole of the boot should be quite flexible, a real UGG boot also has the UGG Australia logo embossed onto it. A very very thin sole would also suggest a fake.
• The label on the heel of the boot should not be too high up. The best way to spot this is to check the boot against a boot on the official UGG Australia website.
• UGG boots' fur is made of quality sheepskin - fakes will have a synthetic look and will often have a chemical smell to them (this is due to the dyes used to paint the fake fur)
• Some guides state that the style of box that the boots come in indicate whether they're fakes or not, this is not the case. UGG boots come in many different styles of boxes, so don't use this as a predictor of whether your boots are the real deal or not.

Well its a shame that the summer season has come to an end, it's now time to put away your sandals and break out those winter boots.
