UGGs - Science Behind the Boot.

So, UGGs are always talked about being comfortable, durable and above all warm. But how does the material they use differ from normal boots? How does the sheepskin work to keep you feet snugg in winter but cool in summer, the answer is thermostatic material.

The sheepskin material breathes which enables air to flow in and out of the boot. The reason that the breathing can occur, is that the sheepskin has long fleecey fibres which allows air to circulate - creating natrual airflow which helps to regulate the temperature of the boot. This means that any stylish UGG boots you purchase this winter can be worn all summer long.
Airflow will take moisture away from the feet - this will stop your feet sweating and remove any unwanted odours.

Additionally, the material is flame and static electricity resistant!

UGG Boots are often not purchased due to their price tag. However, taking on board that the boots can be worn all year round without resulting in sweaty, hot feet - they are definitely worth the invesment.
